Here are a few photos of Young Stroke Thrivers Foundation founder Maria's first walk post surgery- not stroll ;) Today is exactly 6moths (24 weeks) after her tibial tendon transfer, calf lengthening tibialis posterior tendon lengthening surgery on April 6 at Mercy Hospital, Epsom. She said she found it very liberating to finally get out of the house and feel active again. A long way still to go but she is off to a great start!
