How Your Donations Can Help
As a charitable organisation we rely on the kindness of others to help us achieve our goals. Young Stroke Thrivers Foundation (YSTF) is 100% run by volunteers wanting to make a difference meaning 100% of your donation will go towards stroke affected children. If you would like to donate a particular activity or item please contact us directly. Here are some examples of where your money will go- $50 per family towards petrol for transportation as some come from as far away as Whangarei $100 per child for ‘One on One’ Sports and Recreation lessons e.g. Snowplanet hire gear and skiing lessons through Adaptive Snow Sports NZ, Tennis Coaching, Ballet one on one lessons $300 per child for 2day Adaptive skiing lessons and hire gear at Cardrona Alpine Resort, Snow Farm, The Remarkables, Mt Ruapehu (Whakapapa and Turoa) and Mt Hutt $800- $1000 towards video costs - interviews, graphics, editing. The videos will be used for the website to inspire and motivate Young Stroke Thrivers as well as presentations $3000- $4000 for respite care e.g .a family or small group trip to Wanaka to do Adaptive skiing including flights, accommodation, snow pass, hire gear and hire car |

We are always on the look out for more people to lend a hand whatever your forte may be- swimming instructor, baker, photographer, videographer. Please contact us if you would like to volunteer your time on either a regular, casual or one off basis. |
Running a charity takes time, money and a lot of effort just like a business… Whilst we keep our administration costs to a minimum, we do need donations to help us make our initiatives possible. This includes:
- Brochures/ Posters design and printing - Website Development - Marketing - Resources - Research for more informed and effective service |
