To ski or board for the first time can be a bit daunting... but Adaptive Snow Sports has a number of ways to assist you in gaining your confidence so you can be a part of the winter fun and excitement!
Adaptive Snow Sports is for all ages and abilities. It is about adapting equipment and lessons and providing accessible support systems to allow people with a wide range of disabilities to take to the snow and experience the freedom of snow sports!
The Young Stroke Thrivers Foundation (YSTF) Starter Ski / Snowboard Package is available for your taking! The starter pack includes 2 day lift pass, hire equipment and lessons. It is available at Cardrona Alpine Resort (Wanaka), Snow Farm NZ (Wanaka), The Remarkables (Queenstown), Mt Ruapehu, Whakapapa & Turoa Ski Areas, Ruapehu Adaptive Programme, Mt Hutt (Christchurch). A 2hour package is also available at SNOWPLANET (Auckland).
